It’s called the “OGM chain,” which stands for “only gold medalists,” and is made up of every U.S. figure skater who has ever won a gold medal in the Winter Olympics, the Associate Press reported. The list of members stretches back to Tenley Albright, the now-90-year-old who won gold in 1956. Nathan Chen gained entry into the exclusive club when he won a pair of gold medals at the 2022 Beijing Olympics. He received a text right after claiming gold that read, “congratulations.
