“I have a conceptual practice that is project driven, parasitical and medium-promiscuous”​ Living and working in Beirut, Lebanon, Omar Mismar’s (omarmismar) practice probes the entanglement of art and politics as well as the aesthetics of disaster. Working fluidly across mediums including photography, sculpture, mosaics, performance, installation and film, his work explores how conflict and desire shape the everyday. ⁠​ Omar is one of the talents featured in the Rabanne Talents program.
