Patron of the 2026 Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run, Lisa Hanna says her participation is no longer about race times, but about supporting a cause that transforms lives. In a post-race interview, Hanna shared that while she may no longer be pushing hard on the course, she remains committed to the mission behind the run. She noted that when more than 31,000 Jamaicans come together, it represents roughly 1% of the population united, making the Sigma Run one of the most powerful displays of unity and compassion anywhere per capita. “Hop, skip, jump — every step matters,” Hanna said, emphasizing that every stride helps provide opportunities for children through education, especially schools in Western Jamaica still recovering from Hurricane Melissa. “For me, it’s not about the time.
