Thousands gathered with Buddhist monks at the Lincoln Memorial on day 109 of their Walk for Peace. A group of eighteen monks from the Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center began their 2,300-mile peace walk on October 26 in Fort Worth, Texas to raise awareness of “peace, loving kindness and compassion” in the United States and the world. The monks arrived in Washington DC on the 108th day, February 10.
