They began dating in 2006, not yet knowing how many states — or time zones — their love story would cross. By January 2008, they were married and learning life together one deployment, duty station, moving truck, and GPS recalculation at a time. Their journey has taken them across Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas, and even Germany — where, alongside their three kids, they explored 11 countries across three continents. Now, 18 years later, they’re settling into their forever home in Hampton Roads — just down the road from where it all began.
