My daughter, Adrianna, was born with Spina Bifida. Because of this birth defect that she was born with, she is unable to walk nor stand; therefore, she is a full time wheelchair user. I, Mom, am her main caregiver. For the most part, I am the one lifting her on and off of her wheelchair into our SUV to get her to& from school and appointments when dad is not able to. As she’s gotten older it is starting to become more difficult to have to transport her. Adrianna is a sweet, smart and determined little girl. She is very kind and does not let her disability stop her from enjoying every day life.
