Autofocus on Hasselblad X2D II
The X2D II is the first camera I have used that brings LiDAR assisted autofocus to the table. It combines laser ranging with traditional phase detection, giving me faster and more confident focusing even when I am working with its large sensor and big lenses. What is really cool is the LiDAR system works in near darkness because it does not rely on ambient light to measure distance.
On my trips, the autofocus has held up no matter how I shoot. From tight foregrounds to distant backgrounds, the camera adapts. With the new joystick, I can pick from 425 focus points and dial in my exact spot, then lock in focus precisely in any scenario.
What would you like to photograph with this setup? Let me know!
