This Presidents’ Day, we’re remembering our contribution to the preservation of land within LincolnBirthplaceNPS in Kentucky. In 2001, we helped purchase the 228-acre Knob Creek Farm, land that President Lincoln’s father farmed and where he spent the majority of his early childhood. As we approach America's 250th anniversary this year, places like this allow us to reflect on the people, stories, and landscapes that have shaped our nation.
