This Black History Month, we’re proud to bring SANKOFA: AN EPIC ADVENTURE, to the Playhouse Square stage for school matinee performances. Sankofa — an Akan term meaning “to go back and get it” — takes audiences on a time-traveling journey through pivotal moments in Black history, from Mansa Musa’s Africa to the birth of Hip Hop in the Bronx.
