The views are panoramic & absolutely epic! • fantastic day hiking and backpacking trails • the Appalachian Trail runs right through the park • beautiful overlooks 🥾 Great Trails in the Park: - Massie Gap to Wilburn Ridge Loop 2.3 miles - Twin Pinnacles Trail 1.6 miles - Haw Orchard to Twin Pinnacles 2 miles - Massie Gap to Elk Garden 8.8 miles - Scales via the Appalachian Trail 7.6 miles ⛺️You can also primitive camp along the Appalachian Trail if you are backpacking. I have tent camped along the trail in multiple locations several times and it’s absolutely magical when you wake up in the morning...
