The film is nominated for a 2026 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Independent Motion Picture! In the film, Bell delivers a standout performance as the memorable and hilarious Uncle Earl, bringing his signature comedic brilliance to the screen. A graduate of Benedict College with a degree in Media Arts, Howie was also an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. A Detroit, Michigan native, Bell is a veteran stand-up comedian and actor who has taken comedy to the next level throughout his career. His impressive résumé includes appearances on Comedy After Dark (Comedy Central), six seasons of Comic View (BET)—including the recent One Mic Stand edition hosted by Kevin Hart, Jamie Foxx’s LAFFAPALOOZA!
