I love teaching.
When my students come in to sharpen their skills, I don’t just show them buttons and transitions. I give them context. Taste. Judgment. The little things that only come from years of doing this for real.
I’ve been collecting, curating, and living inside music for over 30 years.
My first DJ gig was in 2000, playing at my parents’ renewal of vows. No stage. No hype. Just responsibility, emotion, and learning how to hold a room with sound.
Fast forward, and now I get to help serious professionals level up their craft.
Not just how to mix, but how to think, how to listen, how to shape energy.
This is what I do at the.artofdj.
Real skills. Real context. Real growth.
The history is coming.
But first, the work.
