Hoda hugged me y’all. I’m not saying that unlocked something in me… but I’ll never recover. NYC Part 2 and I know some of this sounds “touristy.” Do it anyway. Because here’s what actually made the day: We started at Rockefeller Center. Not rushing. Not power-walking. Just standing there like, “Oh. This is New York.” We watched the skaters. We took the photos. We let it feel big. Then we walked over to the live taping of the Today at NBC Studios. Crowd energy. Music. Hosts coming out. And yes… the hug. After that we strolled down Fifth Avenue. I’m not saying you need to buy anything. I am saying go inside anyway. Look up at the buildings. Let it feel cinematic. Then we slowed it down in Central Park. And I know. “A park?” But sitting in the middle of Manhattan doing absolutely nothing? Elite energy. And then SoHo. Yes, Broadway. Yes, Abercrombie & Fitch. But the real move? Turn off the main street. Cobblestone. Cast-iron buildings. No shoulder-to-shoulder crowds. Just wander...
