A wet week at Fancourt!! Rain delays and flooding led to a 54 hole tournament, which they did well to achieve. Originally it was over 3 courses, but ended up being 2 rounds over Montagu & Outeniqua and final round on Montagu. Such a shame as The Links was my favourite layout, but at least we had a tournament!! I didn’t get enough out of day 1 on the Outeniqua 70(-2)(easier course) and then played really nice for 68(-4) day 2. 20mph winds on the final day made it a bit trickier, and ultimately lost my feels a bit going into the back 9. Difficult to get them back when it’s so windy! Solid again on and around the greens.
