ASU Popular Music partnered with splice for an interactive workshop exploring modern production practices, creative sampling, and innovative workflow techniques shaping today’s music landscape. Led by ASU Popular Music Assistant Director C. Samuel Peña, aka samuelitos, the collaboration extended beyond the classroom into real-world creation. As Peña shared: “I knew that real-world learning - from writing the music, to recording it, to editing the sample pack - was going to be extremely valuable to our students. And it was.” From recording grooves live in the studios at Fusion on First to involving musicians, engineers, videographers, faculty, interns, and students in every stage of the project, this collaboration offered meaningful real-world experience. We’re proud to connect our students directly with leaders in music technology and empower them with tools that elevate both craft and career. 🔗 Read the full feature at the link in our bio. #asupopularmusic #splice #musicIndustry...
