These "old money" videos and the whole social media conception of old money are a neverending source of laughs, really. I've written about the incoherent nonsense that is the "old money aesthetic" trend, but this format, this specific "old money / no money" thing is a little more recent and a new level of stupidity. (It's also often racist but that's a whole other can of worms). I am gonna link to at least five of this format in my stories today, and at least a few of them are either preposterously self-unaware, or self-deprecating not for humor, but for rage bait. You'll see what I mean. In the meantime, part of me wants to encourage you to remix this footage with your own favorite old money Pokémon or whatever, but that feels like a dangerous idea so... uh... #oldmoney #oldmoneyaesthetic #nomoney
