As
#LilDurk’s federal m-rder-for-hire trial approaches, a judge has ruled that jurors will be allowed to hear lyrics prosecutors say point to motive.
Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald determined that lines from Durk’s songs “Who Want Smoke??” and “Ahhh Ha” can be introduced at trial, writing that references to retaliation for “Von” are relevant to prosecutors’ theory of motive.
The case stems from a 2022
#LosAngeles sh—ting targeting
#QuandoRondo, in which Rondo was unharmed but his friend
#LulPab was k-lled. Prosecutors allege the attack was ordered in retaliation for the 2020 death of
#KingVon, Durk’s close collaborator. Durk has denied involvement. 👀
