We won every stage & the GC - the first VOS GC in this l39ion.la history. I won’t pretend that didn’t get me thinking, my whole life I’ve made things a lot of things work with a little. There is a certain pressure that comes with building something like this. Making sure the riders are taken care of. Making sure the standard never drops, even when resources do. But this weekend reminded me that a little bit goes a long way. The right group of people. The right mindset. The right belief in each other can make you feel whole. We didn’t spend time talking about what we didn’t have. We focused on what we did have. We raced together, we committed fully, & everyone stepped up when it mattered.
