SHOP SCAM: Police say a Bloomingdale auto shop employee was arrested for unlawfully selling a customer’s car to a scrap yard, where it was later crushed. Investigators say 49-year-old Maribel Pena-Matos of Paterson impersonated the vehicle’s owner and sold it for cash after the customer was unable to retrieve the car for months.
