Instead, her life was tragically cut short in a collision linked to a pursuit that tore through her neighborhood and into a school zone. She was more than a teacher. She was a mentor, a safe space, and a champion for special education students who needed someone to believe in them. For decades, she poured her heart into children who will now have to navigate the classroom without her steady presence. A community is grieving. Students are grieving.
