David Eric Browne (born 27 December 1995) is a Papua New Guinean former professional footballer who played as a forward or a midfielder. He was the first Papua New Guinean footballer to play professionally in Europe. Besides New Zealand, he played in the Netherlands and Finland. Around the age of 10, Browne began playing football as a goalkeeper. He began his football career in the Port Moresby suburb of Kaugere at the Living Light Academy.
