WATCH: Family members, friends, stalwarts of Jamaica’s music fraternity and political leaders gathered in their numbers to bid a heartfelt final farewell to reggae legend Stephen “Cat” Coore, co-founder of the world-renowned group Third World.
The thanksgiving service, held at UWI Mona Chapel in St Andrew, was a moving tribute to a life dedicated to music, culture and country.
As the final prayers were said and the service drew to a close, warm embraces were shared among those left to honour his legacy.
In a fitting celebration of his extraordinary contribution to reggae, the Montego Bay Boys and Girls Club filled the air with lively, uplifting melodies.
