Snow days turned into sweet acts of kindness ❄️🍪 When January brought icy weather and days off from school, Richardson ISD fourth graders Vivian and Madeleine decided to use their time to give back. With help from their younger brothers, Asher and Graham, they baked chocolate-covered marshmallows and homemade cookies and sold them to neighbors to support the North Texas Food Bank. Braving the cold (and using walkie talkies to stay connected!), they raised nearly $200—enough to help provide close to 600 meals for neighbors facing hunger across North Texas. 💙 “We just told people that every dollar we raised would help someone,” Vivian shared. We’re so inspired by these young leaders who saw a need and took action. Way to turn snow days into something truly meaningful!
