We recently sat down with Don Marcotte, who was an effective scorer in major junior and in the AHL, but when it came time to make the jump to the NHL, he adjusted his game to the role that was available to him. A two-time finalist for the Frank J. Selke Trophy as the NHL's top defensive forward, Don still managed to score 230 goals over the course of 868 regular-season games, to go along with the two Stanley Cups he won with the Bruins in 1970 and 1972, respectively.
