Congresswoman Sarah McBride spoke about women’s rights at a 14 February panel hosted by Hillary Clinton at the Munich Security Conference, and warned listeners about the adverse affects of gender-policing on not just trans women, but all women. McBride, who is trans, recounted a confrontation that occurred January 2025 in the US Capitol women’s bathroom between Republican Representatives Lauren Boebert, Nancy Mace, and a freshman colleague of Sarah’s who was inside using the restroom.
