Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew and brother of King Charles, was arrested Thursday morning on his 66th birthday, on suspicion of misconduct in public office linked to his relationship with the late, convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew’s arrest is linked to the suspicion that he shared confidential information to Epstein that could have been used for financial benefit for an as-yet unknown number of parties. From 2001 to 2011, then-Prince Andrew was a trade envoy for the United Kingdom. A senior American security official told CBS News that his arrest is linked to the 2010-2011 timeframe.
