Being away from home for the first time, not having sisters, and coming from a small all-girl high school I knew I wanted to find the sisterhood I always had. Going through recruitment two years ago, on a whim, was one of the best decisions I have made. Theta has always symbolized home for me, and a familiar sense of belonging. I knew that being an active member in this chapter would benefit me, but did not know how much it would change me. I can confidently say I have met my forever best friends and am the best version of myself because of Theta.
