This day is grounded in Jesus' message delivered in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 6, verse 21, 'Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.' In ancient days, the heart was believed to be the place where decisions were made, balancing and discerning your mind's thoughts and your gut feelings.
