Earlier this week, the City of Temple City recognized Deputy Swartz as the Temple City Deputy of the Year. Temple Station is extremely proud of Deputy Swartz and his outstanding work ethic. This recognition comes as no surprise to those who work alongside him every day. Deputy Swartz arrived at Temple Station in February 2022 and has consistently demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and a strong commitment to service. In April 2023, he was assigned to the City of Temple City, where he initially worked a crime car before transitioning to a traffic car. In both assignments, he quickly made a lasting impression through proactive policing and his commitment to community engagement.
