Imagine walking into your own house—the one you built, paid for, and decorated—and having your family treat you like a burglar. That’s the tension of John 1:10. Jesus came to the world he designed, and the world didn't recognize him. He was a stranger in his own living room. We often miss God because we’re looking for the spectacular, while he’s standing right there in the ordinary. He doesn't kick the door down; he offers the right to become children to those who simply receive him. He’s not a guest to be hosted; he’s God coming home. (John 1:10-13) Micro-Practice: Look at a stranger today—a barista, a driver, a coworker—and remember that the Author of the Universe is currently walking the same streets you are. Where do you struggle to see Jesus most? In your stress? In your routine? Let’s talk about it. 💬 #JesusFirst #ComeAndSee #hccksTheJourney #Lent2026 #GospelOfJohn
