As FAMU SJGC’s Hearst Visiting Guest Lecturer, Reid will lead a four-part masterclass, “How to Be an Independent Journalist,” mentoring our juniors and seniors through the realities of today’s evolving media landscape. From NBC and CNN to podcasting and entrepreneurship, she has built an authentic, independent voice across platforms. Now, she is pouring that knowledge into Rattlers. Students who complete the series will earn a certificate and become eligible for a summer internship.
