There was a time in my life when I was living out of my car, moving from city to city, and fishing wasn’t something I did to relax — it was how I survived. I kept a rod and reel in the trunk because if I didn’t catch dinner, I didn’t eat. That season built my faith, my discipline, and my resilience. Today, that same water is where I teach young men about patience, responsibility, and believing in something bigger than their circumstances. What started as survival turned into purpose.
