Miramar Police Department earns top honors again. On Thursday, February 19, 2026, Chief D. Moss, Deputy Chief S. Bucknor, and Accreditation Manager S. Lerouge accepted CFA’s Excelsior Status—the highest level of Florida law enforcement accreditation, in St. Augustine, Florida. This milestone follows CALEA reaffirmation  in September 2025, marking MPD’s rare achievement of dual accreditation at both the state and national levels.
