Couldn’t believe what I captured at a gas station in Nebraska when I was driving home from Omaha to Lincoln in a full whiteout after covering the NSAA Wrestling Championships. Tractor plow with 0 cover... Midwest tough is built differently! As a Californian transplant in Nebraska as a sports reporter, I was 🤯 PS- As a California transplant experiencing my first winter in Nebraska (which has been very mild), this was first time driving in a whiteout… terrifying. Shout out to my gf kayleegrieser26 who was on the phone with me the whole time keeping my calm :) The drive is 50ish miles and normally takes an hour max on the highway. This took 2 hours going no more than 30 mph the whole way on side roads where parts of the drive had visibility basically at nothing. As much as want to get home to Kobe to ensure he is good, lesson learned won’t be doing that type of drive again until it’s better conditions. #nebraska #snowstorm #drivinginthesnow #nebraskaweather #tractors
