'Pillion' director Harry Lighton has revealed that his gay awakening was Groundskeeper Willie from 'The Simpsons'. In an interview with A24 during press for 'Pillion', Lighton listed off some of his gay influences. Groundskeeper Willie was top of the list, with Lighton explaining that seeing a particular scene in the show helped him realise he was attracted to men.
