April 28th was a truly special day. The U.S. House of Representatives has passed the Congressional Gold Medal Act to honor our 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team.
I’m filled with gratitude for Representatives Pete Stauber and Mike Quigley for championing this effort - and to the House for their unanimous support.
Our team shared a moment that inspired a nation, and this honor means more than words can express.
