They say they will leave no stone unturned in New Mexico. In less than two years, more than 100 women and young girls were found d€d in Doña Ana County. Public records from the Office of the Medical Investigator show: • Average age: 29 • Youngest: two 16-year-old girls • A concentrated 5×10 mile corridor west of Sunland Park and Santa Teresa • Multiple sites never visited • Sites left partially unrecovered • Repeated classifications as “exposure” These are not statistics. These are women. If New Mexico is launching a truth commission to examine abuse and institutional failures, this documented concentration must be included. We are not alleging linkage.
