Hailey Kenyon ‘28 shoots for two in the girls varsity basketball’s 76-42 win against Overland Feb. 19 in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. This was their second win in the Centennial League Tournament, and they are now 20-2 on the season. “I think the main cause of [the win] was because we were really focused,” shooting guard Maria Trueman ‘28 said. “We made sure that we finished well, and I feel like we really moved the ball well.” The girls’ varsity basketball team will continue its tournament run Feb. 21 against Cherokee Trail at Overland High School.
