The Power Of Moments 🏔️
It’s one of my favorite books and a lesson that really sunk in after crossing the finish line of the Leadville 100.
This past weekend we hosted our 3rd Go One More Marathon. I positioned myself at the finish line to give every runner a hug and put the medal over their head. That was a moment that I wanted to create for the experience of this event.
I’ll never forget finishing Leadville, striding up into town, crossing the finish line and being embraced by a gentlemen who proceeded to drop the medal over my head. I watched him continue to do this for every runner.
As I get older and certain memories from that race begin to fade, I know I’ll never forget crossing that finish line and the experience that they intentionally created.
I’ve applied this to moments in business ever since, but it can also be a powerful opportunity in other areas of your life as well.
