Mandatory city break… but make it mountains 🌲✨ We stopped in Idyllwild (I-D-Y-L-L-W-I-L-D) on our way to Palm Springs and I had no idea it would end up being one of my favorite parts of the trip. There’s something about getting out of the city, especially when it’s freezing, snowing, loud, nonstop…and just breathing mountain air for a second. No sirens. No rush. No calendar notifications. Just trees, quiet, and that crisp air that makes you feel like you reset your nervous system without even trying. As someone who lives in constant motion (sports schedule, content schedule, gym schedule, life schedule 😅), this was such a reminder that slowing down doesn’t mean you’re falling behind. It just means you’re human. Idyllwild is the perfect little mountain town stop if you’re heading to Palm Springs. Cozy cabins, views for days, and that small-town charm that makes you forget you were just in traffic 48 hours ago. Highly recommend a mandatory city break every once in a while 🤍 #Idyllwild...
