The French side improved to 16-12 while the Spanish outfit dropped to 9-19. Baskonia led 46-50 at halftime but Monaco asserted its authority with a 10-0 run early in the third and never looked back, opening up a 95-83 lead in the home straight which forced Baskonia into submission. Mike James paced Monaco on 17 points while Nikola Mirotic and Elie Okobo netted 16 each. Nemanja Nedovic turned out to be the home team’s trump card as he netted 12 points, shooting 5-of-6 from the floor, while Alpha Diallo and Daniel Theis scored 10 each.
