This billboard celebrating my cover issue of gossmagazine came out a year ago, and I remember the day so vividly because I was still recovering from my IVF miscarriage. It was a small moment of happiness in a dark time, and I’ll never forget the kindness from the editorial team in quietly editing the copy in the final hours, so that the issue didn’t hit shelves highlighting a still-active pregnancy. (Such a contrast to the “entertainment” tabloids who grabbed ugly-crying screenshots from my IG and ran stories before I was even home from my D&C) This moment was also so special to share with my daughter, because whether it’s watching me reach for new heights in my space & science career, or embracing my femininity & creative multitudes, or even emoting openly and vulnerably about my difficulties with infertility & loss, I love that she has a front row seat watching me embrace every single version of myself…… so that when she grows up, she never feels she has to choose. 💖 (And stay tun...
