Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian says Tehran ‘will not bow’ to what he called pressure from global powers, as tensions rise with the US. Speaking at a meeting with Paralympic athletes in Tehran, Pezeshkian said, ‘Even though the outside world and global powers are unfairly pressing us to submit, we will not bow our heads.’ His remarks come as US President Donald Trump warns limited strikes against Iran are possible, while nuclear talks between the two countries continue. Washington has expanded its military presence in the Middle East in recent weeks, as it pushes for concessions over Iran’s nuclear program. Tehran insists the program is peaceful, but the US and its allies suspect it could be aimed at developing weapons. #Iran #Pezeshkian #USIran #MiddleEast
