Grammy Nominated Reggae singer Lila Iké pulled up to Pickle for a Cause at Pickle & Chill Jamaica on Friday, lending her support to hurricane relief efforts in western Jamaica. “While we’re all trying to have fun and get fit… we’re still here for a cause,” she said. “Every merch that you purchase, the tickets, it’s all going towards helping people in the West that got affected by Hurricane Melissa.” The event, held at 13 East Kings House Road in Kingston 6 until 9 pm on Saturday, sees all proceeds going toward the Lost in Time Foundation, in association with the American Friends of Jamaica. Organisers say the goal is to raise funds to help rebuild at least 1,600 homes for families impacted by Hurricane Melissa.
