In depth explanation.
Day 1 of Creative SAUCE 🍝
This is how I make my videos look insanely sharp on Instagram.
Most creators stop at export settings. That’s why their footage looks soft after upload.
Here are the steps In detail:
STEP 1 Shooting appropriately.
In Camera Settings:
Resolution: 4k (3840 Ă— 2160)
FPS: 60 FPS
Shutter Speed: 1/125 (Always double your frame rate for natural motion blur)
ISO: 800 or less to reduce noise
Profile. If youre camera can do it: LOG, if not standard is fine but you will expose differently for each
Exposure: Log: +1.7 / Standard +0.0
White Balance: Daylight: 5600k, You want to assure that your histogram isn’t clipping
Color Depth: 10 Bit if your camera can do it
STEP 2: The Editing Bay Settings
Sequence Settings:
Timeline: 30 fps
Resolution: 1080x1920 (9:16 aspect ratio for IG Reels)
Always click maximum bit depth to take advantage of 10 bit color
Export Settings:
H264 or H265 both work great
VBR Target Bit rate: 25 Anything about 1...
