This one is a true #HappyHourHideout and treasure! In fact, the last time I went to belle_tavern I literally received a hug from an employee and was given recommendations on where I should go next! This place is a hidden gem, and that’s why it has taken me so long to share. I hold on to the special places because in my mind they are mine, but I trust y’all will take care of them, so here you go! Belle Tavern is a bourbon bar that probably has every bourbon you can think of but also specializes in crafted cocktails! I love the French 75 but can go for an Old Fashioned from time to time. Located on Barboro Alley, Belle Tavern can be easily accessed from South Main, Second Street, or by walking down the hall of 117 Prime. The two restaurants are connected and share a kitchen, so they actually give you options on the vibes you want to create!
