This photo popped up on the memories timeline yesterday and I couldn’t help but share. It’s been 3 yrs since I retired from playing but sometimes it feels like 10yrs ago and some days its feels like just a week ago. • Softball is something we are brought up on. It becomes our lifestyle or second family our memories and then one day it’s over. Saying goodbye was harder than I ever thought because I didn’t know what was next. At the time I wasn’t ready to be a college coach, and although I did well playing it’s not like I had MLB money were I could just not have another career the rest of my life. . Life is good! And softball is still a big part of my life & always will be. Do I miss holding the ball in the circle with the pressure on? Yes! Do I miss being around a team? Yes! Do I miss the grind..Yes!!
