The Dan De Kraai Community Service award is named in honor of Dan De Kraai. Patrolman De Kraai passed in 2010, and this award was named after him- De Kraai and the rest of the St. Joseph Police Department keep our community safe and somethings serve thanklessly. These brave men and women place their life on the line for all of us. Community service is a big part of the Mustangs experience- Mustangs players made appearances all over, from reading books through the United Way Summer Reading program, raising funds for local agencies by working and serving food at the St. Joseph McDonalds, hosting the Cops Care Kids Camp, and more. This years winner grew up in St. Joseph and willing to show up at any and all events. He did a wonderful job of representing the St. Joseph Mustangs- congratulations to Chris Coy!
