Happy #SustainabilitySunday 🎉 Mike and Helena are back with us this week to discuss the environmental impacts of snow making. While water usage does come into play, the real impact is often found in energy usage. Here at The Basin, we reduce our energy consumption by utilizing fan powered snowguns instead of pumping pressurized air up the hill to each location. Through this method, we are able to use 1/10th of the energy commonly used for pressurized snowmaking systems. Want to learn more?
