🏔️ Celebrating a new protected treasure in Peru! The new Ausangate Private Conservation Area protects over 31,700 acres (12,800 hectares) of Andean ecosystems — including Cusco’s highest and most sacred peak, the majestic Ausangate Mountain. This extraordinary puna grassland landscape is home to threatened species, including Andean Cat, numerous Andean frog species, and the iconic Vicuña.
